Biscotti is also known as cantucci in Italy. They are twice-baked, oblong-shaped, dry, crunchy, and may be dipped in a drink, traditionally a Vin Santo. Our biscotti is very thinly sliced and studded with a generous amount of almonds, hazelnuts and/or pistachios. Traditional biscottis use egg white but Crunzhies biscottis are eggless. We also made our biscottis from high fiber flour and sweetened with low GI sugar. Our chocolate biscottis are flavoured with the famous Valrhona cocoa powder and we lightly streak the biscotti with a ganache (made from 70% dark chocolate) to enhance the chocolaty taste even more.
